Good computers
brighter people

A small computer. A bigger future.

Where it all
began.

The Amiga 500 sparked a lifelong passion for computers, games and programming. It wasn’t just a machine — it was a doorway to endless curiosity, creativity and possibility.

01 / My story

Curiosity started
at home.

In the early 90s, a beige box changed everything. The Amiga 500 arrived in our home, and for me it was love at first sight. The combination of stunning graphics, incredible sound and a sense of possibility made it feel magical.

It wasn’t just about playing games — it opened my eyes to what computers could do, and it sparked a curiosity that still drives me today.

02 / Learning to create

Discovering AMOS.

With AMOS (Amiga Basic), I suddenly had the power to create my own games and programs. It was the first time I realised that computers weren’t just for playing — they were for making. I spent countless hours typing code, experimenting, and seeing ideas come to life on screen.

Simple graphics, silly games, small tools — it didn’t matter. The thrill of creating something yourself was addictive.

03 / Magazines & inspiration

Paper, patience
and progress.

I bought Amiga magazines and spent hours typing in source code from printed pages. Line by line. Letter by letter. Debugging endless syntax errors, missing colons and typos. It was frustrating at times, but also an incredible way to learn.

Those magazines were more than just paper — they were a gateway to new knowledge, ideas and a global community of creative people.

04 / Exploration

A bigger world
of possibilities.

The Amiga taught me to explore, to be curious, and not to be afraid of the unknown. There was always something new to try — a game to play, a demo to watch, a program to tweak, a technique to learn.

It showed me that technology is a tool for creativity, and that the best discoveries often happen when you just start exploring.

Same machine. A universe of possibilities.

05 / What stayed with me

Lessons for life.

The Amiga 500 gave me more than great memories. It taught me the value of curiosity, problem solving, persistence and creative thinking. It showed me how rewarding it is to learn, to build, to fail, and to try again.

Those lessons still guide me today — in technology, in work, and in life.

  • Curiosity leads to new opportunities.
  • Problem solving is a superpower.
  • Persistence turns frustration into progress.
  • Creativity makes technology human.
  • It’s more fun when you build things yourself.
  • The best journeys start with a single step.
“Same curiosity.
Different tools.
The journey continues.”

Load. Type. Break. Learn. Repeat.

Same spirit. A brighter tomorrow.
